Q&A with founder of The Laser Beautique, Tzvia Hermann

We interviewed the powerhouse behind Laser Beautique, Tzvia Hermann. Below are her answers to our questions, ranging from how she got into the industry and what her favourite treatments at The Laser Beautique are.

1. Your fullname: Tzvia Hermann

2. Tell us a bit about yourself :

From a young age I had entrepreneurship in my veins showing a keen interest in business. At age 6 I brought my father a purse full of change and when asked where I got the money from I explained how I sold left over balloons from one of my birthday parties.

I was inspired by my own mother Chana, a single mother of three girls, who managed to put herself through beauty school education and start her own beauty salon from a bedroom in their family home, which Chana later moved to a shopping centre. My mom, Chana would serve as a great role model in business as her passion for beauty and her nurturing personality left loyal customers refusing treatment from any other therapist but her. I was always amazed at how everything that my mom taught me was true in its essence. “If you look good, you feel good; when you feel good, you are more confident and can face the world and reach your goals. If my clients trust that I can help them look and feel amazing inside and out, they won’t want to go anywhere else.” said Chana.

3. Please give us a quick overview of what you do for a living, how long you’ve been doing it and why you do what you do?

I founded The Beautique Group in 2009. Launched with The Laser Beautique which is a group of aesthetic clinics. We focus of hair removal and skin (antiaging, correcting and hydrating). I founded The Laser Beautique when I discovered the first pain free permanent laser hair removal technology existed. We then started specialising in skin. I’m passionate about making others feel comfortable in their own skin. When you look good, you feel good and when you feel good you are generally a better person and project positvity and attract positivity.

Organically, we moved into aesthetic training due to the lack thereof in South Africa. We launched The Laser Beautique group in 2009. We then again naturally moved into importing and distributing technologies that were not available in South Africa. Neil (my husband) and I launched the first Laser Beautique in Morningside Shopping Centre. Today, The Laser Beautique is a national aesthetic destination.

Beautique Brands now distributes 5 amazing brands. CooLifting from Spain, Apilus from Canada, Snob Milano and SunsGood from Italy and Otentik from Israel. We have recently launched BeauLasers. This is a series of our very own lasers. We launched with the revolutionary BeauLase Remove. This is a state of the art device that allows our aestheticians to treat using all 3 wavelengths in one handpiece. We are in the process of launching Beauceuticals which is our very own skincare product.

4. How did you first get into the beauty industry?

My mother is a beauty therapist, my sister is a therapist. I studied law and as a hobby took up design and fell in love with marketing. I grew up in my moms salon, playing with all her equipment, gadgets, potions and lotions. So beauty is in my blood.

5. What is one of the biggest beauty or skincare myths, in your opinion?

I think there are many, many, myths and even more gimmicks. Conventional, old school facials are not a myth exactly, but they a thing of the past. I dont understand why anyone has a regular facial these days or why anyone would use anything else but a cosmeceutical on their skin. We live in the age of technology, everyone should be keeping their finger on the pulse or have a trusted aesthetician who brings the latest in result driven tech to their clients. Anyone serious about their skin should be having tech facials as well as using the correct homecare products to maintain the results. We see a dentist and an orthodontist regularly and we still go home and brush our teeth twice a day. Your skin should also be looked after twice a day!

6. Please talk us through your daily beauty routine?

I’m all about the results…and I have zero patients. I think that’s why Laser beautique is such a success. We only offer result driven treatments and products that I have tried and am satisfied with. I was on regima for a long time, I love the products. Very rich and hydrating. I switched to Nimue when we started thinking of stocking the brand. I was so pleasantly surprised! Nimue is a breath of fresh air. What beautiful and luxurious product. I am now using Optiphi which we recently launched in Laser Beautique. This product has blown me away. The amount of thought and effort that has been put into each product is incredible. From the ingredients to the bottling and packaging. I love that we have the DNA analysis so we can now match product to what our clients DNA requires we have taken the guessing out of consultations. I always swop my regime. As soon as I’m done I’ll rotate and go back to Regima and then again the Nimue or another product if it promises results and intrigues me.

I cleanse, use my serums, eye cream, neck and decolette cream twice a day, morning and night and while I watch the telly or relaxing I use my BeauRejuve, home held device. I love it! It’s such a nifty little gadget. Really helps me keep up with my skin regime especially if I can’t make it in for a facial when I need it.

7. What’s your favourite beauty treatment that The Laser Beautique offers, and why?

Oooo…difficult question. I love my Beaulase Remove! Itd is the best laser hair removal treatment I have experienced to date. There are all 3 wavelengths in one device. ND Yag, Diode and Alexandrite wavelengths in one hand piece. Usually salons only have one wavelength so it’s super effective

As for facials, my favourite is having a pen needling treatment followed by CooLift. It’s feels like iv been photoshopped in 45min

8. Your top 3 skincare must-haves/ must-dos?

Pain free permanent laser hair removal. It’s a no brainer. Why suffer, why wax or shave when you can get rid of unsightly hair permanently and painlessly.

Face Fit workouts are a must have! If you serious about slowing down the hands of time and looking after your skin, Face Fit is for you! Its not a facial. It’s a work out! We have over 50 muscles in our face and neck. If going to the gym to exercise our body muscles is a priority then why do we not exercise our facial muscles? Skincare starts way beneath the skin. Its starts in our muscles. So work em.

Hydration is key. People dont realise that most fine lines is due to lack of moisture in the skin. Lots of hylaronic acid. Check ingredients in the products you using. Hylaronic acid is a moisture magnet. We produce hylaronic acid naturally in our bodies but as we age it decreases. So keep pumping moisture back into your skin. With homecare products and in salon treatments like CooLifting

9. People often think The Laser Beautique only offers LASER, tell us what else there is available at TLB?

We offer the very best, result driven technology facials for example, needling, peels, CooLift. We offer Apilus electrolysis for pain free permanent hair removal of light hair and Face Fit work outs. We also offer medical massage, antiaging injectables and fillers, a couple branches offer mani’s and pedis, lashes, microblading…our website has a full list of our offering, do check it out www.thelaserbeautique.co.za

Green Juice : Glow From Within

We all want it, we all envy babes who have it and we are all wondering how they do it. We here to tell you it is not as hard as you think it is and that you too can glow from within without having to put on about 4l of face & body oil.

Hydration

We here this ALL.THE.TIME and it is probably one of those things we all know we should be doing but don’t always stick to 2l a day. This makes a huge difference. Drinking 2l of water today won’t have you glowing tomorrow BUT drinking AT LEAST 1l a day (try for more though) will certainly have you glowing in a few weeks time.

Green Juice

Water isn’t the only glow from within magic potion and I want to rather swift focus onto green juice and how amazing green juice is for your skin. This is tried and tested and know from personal experience that green juice is absolutely amazing for clearing up the skin and having it glow from within.
I had a green juice daily for a month & the difference I saw in my skin after just 7 days of doing this was incredible. While green juice doesn’t only just do wonders for the skin, it really does do so much for your overall health and wellness too.

– It keeps your hair looking healthy too
– It has you feeling more energised during the day
– It boosts your immune system
– And it assists in weightloss

I think the magic is in the word GREEN. And incorporating a lot of green veggies into your daily meals and beverages does make the world of a difference.

September is Oral Health Awareness Month!

We all want beautiful, white teeth but we don’t always look after our teeth as well as we should. Here are three easy steps to keep your smile beautiful, healthy and fresh. It’s as easy as brushing, flossing and rinsing. Sounds easy enough right? Which do you do first though? The Sunstar GUM #HealthySmiles123 poll is asking South Africans for their opinion. Cast your vote on www.ivohealth.co.za/GUMHealthySmiles123 – you could win a Sunstar GUM oral care kit worth over R800.

  1. Brush: Brush correctly twice a day for two minutes each time.
  • Sunstar GUM ActiVital Sonic Toothbrush – This sonic toothbrush comes in black or white. It is sleek, stylish and comfortable to use. The ultra-tapered bristles are scientifically proven to remove up to 50% more plaque from between the teeth than a manual toothbrush and it reaches deeper below the gumline. You can purchase this toothbrush from Dis-Chem, selected dentists and pharmacies. Replacement heads cost R86 for a 2-pack.
  • GUM Original White toothpaste –This toothpaste helps to remove stains and prevent their reappearance without damaging the tooth enamel. It contains fluoride to reinforce tooth enamel, as well as vitamins for healthier gums. It contains low-abrasive micro-silica to gently remove surface stains and a unique StainClear agent to help dissolve stains in hard-to-reach areas.

  1. Clean In-Between: Floss in-between your teeth every day with whatever interdental tool suits you best. Personally, I prefer to floss.
  • GUM Original White floss– This floss contains fluoride and special micronized high cleaning silica in the outer wax that makes it about four times more effective than regular floss at removing stains between the teeth and below the gum line.
  • GUM Soft-Picks Advanced – These soft-picks are the latest disposable dental picks with soft rubber bristles that remove plaque and debris whilst gently massaging and stimulating the gums.

  1. Rinse: For an extra-clean mouth rinse with an alcohol-free mouthwash.
  • GUM Original White mouth rinse – This mouth rinse is alcohol-free andcontains StainClear to help remove stains from in-between the teeth and the tiny crevices in tooth enamel. Made with a patented combination of fluoride, Isomalt, and vitamins, Original White Rinse delivers advanced mineralisation for stronger and shinier teeth, helping prevent further staining while strengthening gums and teeth.

Happy brushing, flossing and rinsing Beauties.

Q&A WITH LAETICIA ORIE

We sat down with Cape-Town-born Laeticia Sophia Orie, a cabin crew member for one of the world’s most recognised airlines Emirates. Did you know that a workday of a cabin crew member can be as long as 24 hours and can span across two continents? Not to mention, catering for over 100 flight passengers while maintaining poise and class. Not a typical day in the office by any means. Laeticia is incredibly passionate about her craft and has been servicing Emirates passengers for over three years. When she isn’t globetrotting, Laeticia spends her time baking and spending time with friends that have become her family in Dubai. Over the years, Emirates has provided unmatched hospitality onboard its flights’ thanks to an excellent, multilingual cabin crew that goes above and beyond to ensure that every passenger feels at home.

See our Q&A with her below:

Name:  Laeticia Sophia Orie Age: 24 City of Birth: Cape Town When did you start working with Emirates? I joined Emirates on 17 June 2016. How did you apply to work for Emirates and what was the process like? I applied online on the official Emirates website. It was a competitive process as there were many applicants, however, only a few were given positions at the end (myself included). I enjoyed the application process because it taught me so much about myself. How was your training experience with Emirates? Very exciting! The training lasted for 6-8 weeks, but the experience is truly one I will never forget. It was challenging at first because I had no idea what it took to become a qualified cabin crew member – the in-depth training really changed my perspective on the occupation.
What do you enjoy most about working with Emirates? I love that you get to work with different people all the time and it allows you to learn about different cultures. The one thing I enjoy most about the company is how cosmopolitan and diverse it is. Emirates has taught me so much and opened my eyes to a world I knew existed but never got to experience before. How do you balance work and life? I always listen to my body. I exercise every other day because I’ve learnt that staying fit helps a lot with the work I do. Exercise also helps with my mental clarity and focus, aiding my sleep and ensuring I’m refreshed and ready for a busy flight schedule. How do you prepare for a flight? I pack my suitcase and cabin bag before resting for the flight. I take a shower then start with my hair and makeup. I usually eat a nutritious meal after I’ve done my hair and before I start my makeup. What do you like to do in your free time? I love spending time with my friends, who have become my family here in Dubai. We go to the gym or the cinema, they cook, and I bake because it’s my speciality. I’m a rugby lover, so I try to stay up to date with the sport and catch up on games. What is it like living in Dubai? It is an experience that I feel everyone should have, even for a couple of months. Dubai is everything you see online and all over the billboards. Glamorous, modern, big city life. Favourite destination and why? Auckland, New Zealand. I love the city because it reminds me so much of my hometown. The people there are so kind and laid back, nature is absolutely beautiful, and there’s a calmness about the city that attracts me. Do you have any hidden talents? I like to think that baking is my hidden talent. When I bake, I feel at ease as if this is what I’m meant to be doing. I love it! What is your in-flight beauty regime? I use water-based makeup. For example, I use a powder foundation instead of liquid foundation. I also have a face mister I use in-flight with rose water that I spray on my face to keep it hydrated throughout the flight What are your three favourite beauty products? Elizabeth Arden’s eight-hour cream for my face; Clinique’s 72-hour moisturizer before the flight and Elizabeth Arden’s eight-hour lip balm during the flight to keep my lips moisturized. Can you share any advice on making the best of a long haul flight? Stay hydrated throughout the flight. When the seat belt sign goes off, try to move around the aircraft a bit to help with circulation or wear compression socks, if possible, and get as much sleep as possible. From countries you’ve visited, flying Emirates; what and where are your favourite spas? My favourite spa is in Johannesburg at Life Day Spa, and my second best would be The 1978 Suite in Dubai. I’m very picky when it comes to my skin, so I only go where I feel most comfortable. I also research which products they are using.

Editor’s Choice – Haircare Products

We have two beauty editors on the Beauty Warriors SA team and each week they give us a list of the best four beauty products that have landed on their desks. This week we are featuring haircare. Please let us know what you think of these ranges if you have tried them out before.

Oway:

We love that this product is organic, vegan, cruelty-free and made from amber glass. It has a lovely citrus scent and leaves your hair feeling soft, clean and healthy, this range gives us all the feels knowing it’s good for the environment too. This product is great for everyday use and we love the essential oils in the range. We reviewed the frequent use range. This range makes your hair feel clean and lightweight after using it and who doesn’t want to smell like a little citrus fruit? We do.

We rate this product a 4/5 for everyday use.

This product retails for about R355 a bottle and can be purchased at any Sorbet Dry Bar.

Davines:

We tried the Davines Renewing Shampoo. This is another cruelty-free, environmentally friendly range. We love the simple packaging this product comes in, which is also amber glass funny enough.  This range has a simple, clean scent, thick consistency and your hair feels soft and manageable after using it. The shampoo and conditioner do not lather when you use them, but your hair certainly feels like it had a treatment after use.

We rate this product a 4/5 for everyday use.

This range retails for about R350 a bottle and can be bought at any Carlton salon.

Label.m:

We tried the brightening blonde range and we enjoyed it for everyday use, it has a great look, consistency, and scent. Label.m has also been London Fashion Weeks Sponsors for over a decade now. Our hair felt clean and soft afterward. We enjoyed the ingredients in the range such as lemon, white pineapple and Mamaki Tea which help make the hair appear lighter. Our hair felt soft and moisturised afterward and styling was a little easier than usual.

We rate this product a 3/5 for everyday use.

This product retails for about R260 and can be purchased at any Sorbet Dry Bar.

Moroccan Oil:

This brand has just launched a colour complete range. This range has been designed to lock in the colour, so it doesn’t fade. This collection takes a 360-degree approach to colour care, combatting all sources of colour degradation with an easy-to-follow regimen. It begins in the salon with the ChromaTech in-salon service, a two-pronged attack; ChromaTech PRIME, infused with ArganID™ is applied before hair colour application to increase colour deposit, and ChromaTech POST for after, which uses COLORLINK™ technology to help rebuild crosslinks in the damaged hair structure and traps the colour within. Plus, it forms a protective shield to help prevent hair colour washout. Then it’s time for you to take the reins with a 3-step at-home routine to prolong your hair colour, including shampoo, conditioner and daily spray.

We rate this product a 5/5 for every-day use.

This range retails for about R350 or the travel size set, and can be bought at most salons, including Revive Wellness Spa in Highlands, which was a recent host of one of our Beauty Warriors events.

New Product Announcement

Cult-favorite organic British skincare brand, Skin & Tonic London, has landed in South Africa

Modern life can take its toll on all of us. Stress, work, traffic, environmental aggressors, juggling responsibilities. Sometimes we need to press the “restart” button.

It was this realisation that prompted the founder of Skin & Tonic London, Sarah Hancock to take the health of her skin into her own hands in 2015 when she started Skin & Tonic London with her partner Josh. She, like many other women, refused to risk her health for beauty. “I wanted to eliminate carcinogens and the hundreds of skin irritants that can be found in many conventional beauty products”. She studied skin care formulation and essential oil science and worked tirelessly to create formulations that were fresh, gentle, and effective.

Through developing the Skin & Tonic London range, Sarah says her skin started to look clear and calm again and the inflammation disappeared, “leaving me with healthy glowing, peachy soft skin!”

Skin & Tonic London fulfils the desire of the modern woman who is in search of a brand that satisfies her need for holistic living – mind, body and soul. It is an innovative and result-driven skin care brand, which uses only organically certified ingredients and is certified cruelty free.

Certified by the Organic Soil Association and registered with the Carbon Footprint Institution, Skin & Tonic London offers a range of 14 premium organic skincare products, each hand-made to achieve a natural, calm, healthy and hydrated looking skin. The products contain no harsh preservatives, no silicones, no drying alcohols, no endocrine disruptors, no synthetic fragrances, no SLS and no dyes often used in many other products.

Skin & Tonic London follows a strict “less is more” approach, not only in its formulations which aim to ensure efficacy in the gentlest way possible but also in using 100% recyclable and biodegradable packaging that is developed with a conscious consumer in mind. Even the packaging seals are made from plant cellulose and can be used on grass compost.

In keeping with the “less is more” approach, each Skin & Tonic London product has a maximum of seven (7) or less natural ingredients. Certified organic ingredients are sourced from all over the world and included in the formulations for their efficacy. All products are oil-based and water-free and have been tested by individuals to combat breakouts, acne, rosacea, dermatitis, hyper-pigmentation, eczema & psoriasis, pregnancy, and post-pregnancy skin to name a few. They have proven to reduce sensitivities and support overall good health. All products are formulated to the ideal skin ph levels and work to gently get your skin back on track to being happy and healthy again!

Editor’s Choice: Skincare Edition

This week we’ve really enjoyed some skincare products for the skin, which we wanted to share with you. We would love to know your thoughts on these ranges if you have tried them before.

Cleanser:

Elizabeth Arden Superstart Probiotic Cleanser.

This cleanser has a whipped clay look and texture. It’s strong enough to remove your makeup but gentle enough not to burn or irritate the eyes. Our beauty editors reviewed this product for a month and noticed fewer breakouts, and the pores on their faces appeared less visible. While there wasn’t a dramatic difference in how their skin looked in terms of brightness, but they noticed that their skin felt clean, soothed, soft and wasn’t stiff or dry after use. You use this product by applying it to the skin and leaving it to try for 60 seconds. You then apply warm water to the skin and the ‘mousse/clay’ will become soft, and foamy so you can lather it and remove your makeup. We liked that this product incorporates both pink and green clays, which act like magnets to unclog pores and remove impurities.

We would rate this cleanser a 4/5 for everyday use.

This product retails for about R455,00 and can be found at most Edgars stores.

Even-tone skin correction:

Anti-Aging Art Advanced Skin Tone Corrector

We hosted an intimate event at Anti-Aging Art in Houghton two months ago and our beauty editors have been reviewing one of the very many Products that were in their goodie bags. This product encompasses advanced Brazilian complex.  This product works wonders for people who suffer from blemishes or uneven skin tone. It puts that youthful radiance back in your skin, it must be that ABC advanced Brazilian complex working. One of our editors swears she looks younger after having used this range, oh and it smells sensational too! You apply this product after you’ve washed your face. In the morning. You can also apply it directly to your blemishes at night. Then apply your SPF and moisturiser as usual and live your best, youthful life, girl!

We would rate this product as a 5/5 for everyday use.

This product retails for about R650, pick one up when you pop into Anti-Aging Art for your next aesthetic, biohacking, physiotherapy, treatment or pixelated brows appointment.

Moisturiser:

Skin Doctors BeeLift

This is another product we received from a Beauty Warriors event. We loved the glass packaging that this range came in as that already made the product appear to be more premium. The moisturiser appears to be thick at first, but it was surprisingly lightweight and spreads like a dream. One of our beauty editors felt a little tingling sensation when she used the product, while the other didn’t experience anything at all. We were excited to try this award-winning moisturiser and we found out for ourselves what the hype was all about. This product uses bee venom, organic Manuka Honey, and a collagen treatment in the formulation. This product works by tricking the skin into thinking it has been lightly stung and this encourages the skin to lightly contract the facial muscles which make the skin look tighter, plumper and firmer. We loved how hydrating the moisturiser was and it acted as a great primer before applying your makeup and it has a great honey/vanilla scent. Both of our beauty editors felt this product made them look younger, their skin looked smoother and they had a great glow about them. This product boost collagen production in the skin by up to 300% within just 7 days. It’s important to note that no bees were harmed in the bee venom extraction process and this product is paraben-free. You use this product morning and evening after cleansing and toning your face as usual. Please do not use this product if you are allergic to bee stings.

We would rate this product a 5/5 for everyday use.

This product retails for about R1175 and can be bought from great salons like Urban Bliss in Emmerentia. Pick one up after your next beauty treatment there. We highly recommend their facials and back massages.

Face Mask:

Sorbet Diamond Peel-Off Mask

This mask illuminates and restores your skin to ensure its left feeling radiant and fresh. This product is dermatologically approved and it’s a great way to get a spa-like experience at home. The mask looks and smells great and your skin has a lovely smooth, glow for a few hours after using it. Even after you’ve applied your makeup your glowing skin shines through. There’s diamond and platinum powder in the product so you can feel super boogie from your own home, and you can get about 3 uses out of each mask. You use this product after you’ve washed your face, just apply the mask (don’t forget to cap the product after use so it doesn’t dry out), leave it on for about 30 mins and then peel off. It’s recommended to use this range twice a week.

We would rate this product a 3/5 for weekly use.

This product retails for about R69 and can be bought from any Sorbet Salon. Pick one up after your next facial, mani/pedi or eyelash extensions session.

Foods that can impact your vaginal scent

When we eat certain foods, we usually only think about whether or not they are going to make us put on weight and if they’re good for our health. We never pick a meal based on the impact it will have on our vaginal scent until now that is.

Some of these foods which affect the smell of your vagina are still really healthy, you, therefore, shouldn’t cut them out completely. To keep your vaginal health in the best possible shape, pay attention to this list of surprising foods that affect your lady parts.

Alcohol

When the body is not adequately hydrated it makes it difficult for the vagina to produce sufficient amounts of lubrication. There is nothing wrong with drinking from time to time, but it is important to keep in mind that anything more can be harmful.

Coffee

Listen up, coffee drinkers! Coffee is one of the strong-smelling substances that can change the odor of your vagina. Coffee causes there to be a change in your pH levels, making your vagina more susceptible to getting a yeast infection. Just be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to balance your vaginal pH levels.

Sugary Foods

Eating foods with high sugar levels can lead to women acquiring yeast infections. Yeast thrives from sugar, warmth, and moisture. This is why people who have diabetes due to high blood sugar levels are most likely to contract yeast infections.

Onions

Did you know that any food that can give you bad breath can also cause vaginal odor! When eating onions, you excrete an onion smell in your urine, this also happens when you eat garlic. Although eating onions are not bad for your health, do keep in mind that consuming too many too often can negatively affect your vaginal health.

Cheese

Dairy products can cause hormonal issues or imbalances due to the high level of insulin, too much cheese can do the same. If you consume too much cheese it can disrupt the bacteria in your vagina, thus it will, in turn, cause a yeast infection.

Asparagus

Along with causing your urine to smell bad, asparagus affects the pH of your vagina. Just like many other foods asparagus is not harmful to the body but does indeed cause you to smell down there. We would advise you to eat it in small quantities as the smell can last up to a couple of days.

Broccoli

Broccoli is another smelly vegetable. Broccoli is healthy, so don’t cut it out but just like asparagus eating this vegetable will alter your vaginal odor for a few days before it returns back to normal. According to experts by incorporating broccoli sprouts into your dishes is a great way to still get all the health benefits of the vegetable but a great way to avoid the odor altogether.

Fried Foods

High-fat diets and fatty foods have been associated with bacterial vaginosis, this is the most common vaginal infection. Bacterial vaginosis is indicated by symptoms such as thin, grey, or white discharge followed by a fishy smell and itching. If you experience this often we advise you to see a GP or alter your diet.

With that being said you do not need to cut these foods out completely, just take note if you think they may be causing problems with your vaginal health. If these problems persist, contact your GP for a check-up.

Q&A with Neda Roodaki

Neda Roodaki sat with Beauty Warriors SA this week to give us some tips on wellness from the inside out. Read more below and let us know what you think in the comments section.

5 tips for wellness from the inside out

Most women worry more about their appearance than how they feel. Standing tall, feeling confident and believing in yourself- these are also important ways to feel your absolute best.

Looking your best doesn’t have to be complicated. Most of us only need to pay attention to a few basic beauty secrets – essentials that can help you look and feel great.

Here are five health and beauty tips that will improve your health as well as appearance ensuring that you look and feel your best daily – ‘treat yourself right, from the inside out.

Neda Roodaki a beauty and healing expert, who is one of the most highly qualified practitioners in South Africa, has this to say:

Tip 1 – Control Stress levels

It is very important to keep your stress levels balanced and never let the negative stress take control of you and your body. There are many stress relief techniques that one can do to lessen stress. “Don’t worry about things that are not in your control”

Tip 2 – Beauty Sleep

If you are sleep deprived it shows physically and mentally. Getting an ample amount of sleep (8 hours plus) can assist you in feeling fresh and ready to conquer the challenges ahead.

Tip 3 – A good diet

Our bodies rely on what we put into it. A good and BALANCED diet will keep your body healthy and not to mention your mind. A good diet will also assist you in feeling energetic and reduce health factors later on in life.

Tip 4 – Exercise

For our bodies to be balanced, I believe an exercise routine is very important. There is no perfect routine and people should do what they enjoy to gain the full benefits of exercise. Exercise gives you more energy and keeps you in shape. But new research from McMaster University suggests that endurance exercise might help fight, and even reverse, the signs of aging, such as balding, grey hair and thinning skin.
